Rabbi Yablok completed extensive training for circumcision under Rabbi Michoel Rovinsky, a distinguished Mohel and expert in the field of circumcision, who has been practicing for more than twenty years. Under his guidance, Rabbi Yablok performed hundreds of procedures in the training process alone. In addition, Rabbi Yablok carries with him a rich tradition from both his great-grandfather and namesake, as well as his wife’s grandfather, Reverend Noah Wolff, who performed over 30,000 circumcisions in the greater Chicago area during his sixty year career.

In addition to practicing as a Mohel, Rabbi Yablok has been involved in formal and informal Jewish Education for over twenty years. He currently serves as the Principal of Ohr Yisroel of Tenafly, a boys high school. Rabbi Yablok, along with his wife Shira and their children live in Bergenfield, NJ.

As a trusted mohel in New York and New Jersey, I am widely recognized for my warmth, accessibility, expertise, and meticulous attention to detail. My approach to holistic newborn circumcision is to be exceptionally attentive before, during, and after the procedure—ensuring every family feels supported, informed, and cared for at each stage.

Midwives and doulas throughout the tristate area often seek my services, not only to perform traditional Jewish circumcisions but also to educate expectant parents on their circumcision options. I take pride in providing a calming and compassionate presence for both parents and newborns, creating an experience rooted in both medical safety and meaningful tradition.

I earned my rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University and have been practicing as a mohel for over twelve years, performing newborn circumcisions across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and nationwide. My extensive training was under Michoel Rovinsky, a renowned mohel and expert with more than twenty years of experience. Under his mentorship, I completed hundreds of procedures, developing the precision and sensitivity that guide my practice today.

This work is also deeply personal. My family has a rich tradition in this sacred field, beginning with my great-grandfather and namesake, and continuing with my wife’s grandfather, Noah Wolff, who performed over 30,000 circumcisions in the greater Chicago area during his sixty-year career. Their dedication to this mitzvah continues to inspire and shape the care I give to each child.

In addition to my practice as a mohel, I have spent more than twenty years in both formal and informal Jewish education. I currently serve as the Principal of Ohr Yisroel of Tenafly, a boys’ high school committed to nurturing students with knowledge and integrity. My wife Shira, our children, and I live in Bergenfield, New Jersey.

If you are seeking a compassionate and experienced mohel in New York or New Jersey who will prioritize your baby’s comfort and your peace of mind, I would be honored to guide your family through this meaningful milestone.
